Help with the Naturable editor and the Chrome extension.

Email privacy@naturable.app. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected and what happened. For the extension, include the site, your Chrome version and the extension version (listed under Naturable on chrome://extensions).

Please don't send private drafts. A short made-up sentence that shows the problem is enough.

Report a wrong or missing flag

The rules are open source. If something is flagged that shouldn't be, or a common pattern is missed, open an issue on GitHub with the sentence, the rule name and why you think it's wrong. That's the fastest way to get a rule fixed, and everyone can see the discussion.

Chrome extension

I don't see any underlines

  • Turn Naturable on for the site: click the Naturable icon in the toolbar and switch it on. Chrome asks once for that site.
  • Click into the text box and type or paste. Underlines appear a moment after you stop typing.
  • Reload the page if it was open before you turned Naturable on.
  • Google Docs and other editors that draw text on a canvas can't be underlined. Select the text, right-click and choose "Check with Naturable", or paste it into the side panel.
  • Naturable stays off on banking, payment and sign-in sites, and in password, payment and one-time-code fields, on purpose.

Turn it off for a site

Click the Naturable icon on that site and switch it off, or use "Sites with underlines on" in the popup. Turning a site off also removes the extension's access to it.

Bring back an ignored phrase

Phrases you ignore are remembered on your device. Click the Naturable icon and choose "Reset" next to the ignored-phrases count.

Remove the extension

Right-click the Naturable icon and choose "Remove from Chrome". Its settings and ignored phrases are deleted with it.

Web editor

The editor runs in your browser and saves your draft on this device. Clearing the draft, or clearing site data in your browser, removes it. How it works lists every rule with examples.

What Naturable doesn't do

Naturable isn't an AI detector and can't tell who wrote a text. We can't help with detector results or appeals. See what these signs can't tell you.
